Urgent recall on children’s bike

A children’s foldable e-bike sold nationwide since 2015 is being urgently recalled due to a risk of serious injury.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has placed an urgent recall on eZee Viento folding e-bikes after concerns the frame may break during use.

If the frame breaks while riding, it may cause an accident and serious injury to the rider.

Bike owners are advised to stop using the product immediately and contact their place of purchase to arrange a replacement bicycle frame.

The e-bikes were sold in Glow Worm Bicycles stores in Sydney and Melbourne as well as online and in select bike stores in Melbourne, Perth and Canberra.

The recall relates to Glow Worm eZee Viento folding bikes sold from January 2015 to January 2020.
